Community Support

Community-minded organisations, city councils and community groups, such as Rotary, Lions and Quota clubs have made a huge impact on students and researchers at UOW.

Community donors support the academic endeavours of students from their local community, particularly those who have made a significant community contribution or for whom University would otherwise be inaccessible, whether due to financial constraints, disability, living in a rural or isolated area or other forms of disadvantage.

Community organisations also help with vital research to develop solutions to community-wide health, social or environmental issues.
