Brogan Bunt

Senior Lecturer

Consultation Hours: Monday 10.30 - 11.30am and Wednseday 10.00am - 12.00pm

Brogan Bunt is Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design and New Media at Wollongong University. He is based in the Creative Arts faculty but teaches into Informatics as well. Prior to this Brogan was Programme Chair of the Bachelor of Multimedia at Murdoch University.

He has a wide-ranging media production background and high-level expertise in multimedia design and programming. His research work involves both interactive documentary and electronic art projects. His major virtual heritage work, Halfeti - Only Fish Shall Visit (2001), is a navigable record of an ancient Turkish town, Halfeti, in the months before it was flooded by the waters of the Birecik dam. He has also produced Hotel - a surreal, poetic, generative work which screened at BEAP and MAAP.

Current research projects include ARC funded multimedia oral historical projects on the Midland Railway Workshops and the Fremantle historical precinct.

Brogan has a Bachelor in Communication from University of Canberra and Master of Mass Communication (1984) from Macquarie University (1986).
