Long Gallery
As part of its extensive program, the Faculty of Creative Arts' School of Art & Design fosters contemporary arts practice with two main operating galleries.
Each gallery shows a variety of visual works by international and local artists all year round. The galleries promote and support and intensive program for visiting artists through residencies and short-term research projects and provide opportunities for Postgraduate and Undergraduate exhibitions. Regular performances and readings also accompany the official exhibition openings.
The Faculty of Creative Arts is situated in building 25, University of Wollongong, Northfields Avenue, Wollongong. Members of the public, staff and students are welcome to visit the two separate galleries. The Long Gallery is at the rear entrance of the building (upstairs) and the FCA Gallery is in the main entrance of the building (room 112).
The Galleries are open to the public from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Admission is free of charge.
