Nude Auction!
It’s that time of year again when the University of Wollongong Creative Arts students bare all!
Faculty of Creative Arts, 3rd year Visual Arts and Graphic Design students will host the annual Nude Auction Art Sale on Thursday 4 September, 2008.
This popular event sees students and staff of the Faculty showcase their talents with artistic interpretations of the nude. An outstanding collection of works are available this year incorporating a range of mediums such as, works on paper, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and design. All the artworks are currently on display in the Long Gallery of the FCA building, number 25, at the University of Wollongong and will be available for viewing until the auction.
Proceeds from this event go towards the final Bachelor of Creative Arts Graduation Exhibition, this year titled “The Rabbit Hole.”
The Nude Auction is a chance for the local community to purchase artwork by established, emerging and student artists at bargain prices so don’t miss this once a year opportunity to add a quality piece of art to your collection, and help support the students to raise funds for a great end of year exhibition.
