In parallel to the UOW conference Memory, Heritage and Place: Wollongong's Changing History, Milestones is a response to the themes of change through the creative arts.

The Milestones exhibition currently on display in the LONG Gallery, Faculty of Creative Arts is an art, heritage and place initiative of Wollongong City Council Cultural Services and the University of Wollongong.
This exhibition explores the relationship between art, heritage and place, featuring work by 30 artists who have a connection to the Illawarra. In parallel to the UOW conference Memory, Heritage and Place: Wollongong's Changing History, Milestones is a response to the themes of change through the creative arts.
The LONG Gallery invites you to meet some of the artists at an ARTIST TALK and afternoon tea to be held on Thursday 21 June at 3.00pm in the gallery.
Attendance is free of charge light refreshments will be served.
