This exhibition by Robert Howe and Ashley Frost at The Long Gallery is number two in a series of shows by local artists under the title of Erratic Art.
The first installment of Erratic Art was a combination of works by Simon Blau and Jelle van den Berg in which the painters re-ignited their conversation on the topic of colour and reduction. Similarly Frost and Howe seem compatible in their approach to landscape in which they both share the attitude of first-hand contact with their subject matter.
