Artist books have been part of most of the 20th Century art movements, its many different forms allow the artist to explore intimate and universal issues in works such as small gem like books to large wall hung 'books'. The artist book program was started about 12 years ago in the faculty by Liz Jeneid and has been a course that has encouraged students not only from visual arts but also from other disciplines such as writing and music to take.

The exhibition in the Long Gallery, has a wide range of books from altered books to books that require manipulating by hand to see the images.

Undercover' has been exhibited in the south Australian school of Art during July and August, and will travel to the Art Gallery of NSW Library from the 6th October after showing in the the Long Gallery.
