2005 Graduate Exhibitions

All are invited to visit the Faculty of Creative Arts to view the latest works produced by the Faculty’s undergraduate and postgraduate students. Students from the School of Art and Design have worked long and hard this year to produce an eclectic collection of works encompassing various mediums from painting to sculpture, textiles to photography and graphic design.

Bachelor of Creative Arts: Welcome to the Flight Deck

19 November – 9 December

This exhibition is an important cultural event in the Illawarra and showcases the talents and ideas of over 80 artists and designers from the School of Art and Design at the University of Wollongong.

A diverse collection of cutting-edge art and design will be on display including painting, textiles, sculpture and print design; as well as digital design, motion graphics and web design.

Brian Parkes, associate director of Object Gallery will give an opening address on the night, and food and refreshments will be provided. Guests will be invited to mingle with the artists and designers while listening to the sounds of local musicians.

The event is entirely student run - students direct, curate, fundraise and publicize the event. The exhibition relies on support from the community to be a success.
