Voltage is two concerts presenting new works composed and performed by second and third year Sound – Composition and Music Production (SCMP) students from the Faculty of Creative Arts. Second year students showcase their work on Friday night whilst graduating students from third year, put it out there on Saturday night.

Each concert explores a spectrum of contemporary practice created by emerging composer/performers whose work ranges across media, instruments and styles to present two distinctive programmes of sound and music.

Featuring harmonies, drones, electro acoustic works, string ensembles, vocals, music softwares, samples, a piano trio and a rock ‘n roll band, these concerts are presented in an intimate setting, allowing the audience to engage closely with these emerging artists and their music.
