Nothing To See Here

Student initiated live art and performance event

Friday 7 August 2009 @ 7.00pm
Performance Space, 25.168, University of Wollongong

FCA Performance collective Applespiel presents Nothing to See Here: A Night of Regression, a night of performances and installation work devised by students from the Faculty of Creative Arts. The night includes site specific pieces as well as in-theatre performances created in response to the given theme of regression.

The first hour is given to site specific performances, and the audience is invited to roam the building and explore the various works on offer. There is a map provided for reference and ushers around the building for assistance. After this, the audience will be asked to move up to the performance space and be seated for an hour of short performance works.

Applespiel is a third year performance collective that have performed at Performance Space, Short and Sweet, and Monthly Friend, formed out of a desire to explore and create opportunities for a more visceral performance medium. Nothing to See Here is a night of live art, performance, and far too much cake. Come along and rediscover your inner child/amoeba/dinosaur!
