Faust

Over the mid year break, a group of third year students from the Faculty of Creative Arts’ Performance course, have once again met under the Applespiel moniker, this time to explore the legend of Dr. Faustus, a scholar who sold his soul to the devil for 24 years of unrivalled pleasure on earth.
Based on Christopher Marlowe's play of the same name, Applespiel have sought to find the strength and beauty of the original, and reconcile it with the body of work that has accrued around the story of Faustus throughout history.
