1/4_inch is presenting a huge line up of live music this month. We'll be hitting the Uni Bar on the Friday night with an Audio Visual show featuring Sydney and Wollongong's finest. Just take a look at the line-up. Severed Heads, Social Interiors, PA and Little Aida who playing apocalyptic/ acid/ country/ rock and truck load of artists to entertain throughout the night.
Saturday afternoon, from 2pm Ross Bencina, software developer and sound artist, will be running a workshop on his shareware music application AudioMulch. Beginners and advanced users welcome.

Audio Mulch Workshop with Ross Bencina

Addressed to all levels of expertise, this workshop presented by AudioMulch's creator Ross Bencina will quickly bring beginners up to speed with this intuitive software environment and then dive deeper into some of the more esoteric features that even the most seasoned mulchers will find interesting. Expect practical applications and performance strategies in interactive sound design and processing, demonstrations of patches that Ross uses in performance, and an overview of the recently added Metasurface. Audience interaction guaranteed!
AudioMulch Interactive Music Studio is software for Windows PCs which allows sound to be generated and transformed in novel and musically expressive ways. AudioMulch is used on stage, in the studio and in the classroom. AudioMulch can be downloaded from http://www.audiomulch.com
