Cabaret

19 – 22 October 2005

by Kander & Ebb   Directed by Gaye McFarlan

Kander & Ebb’s great musical CABARET will be directed by Gaye MacFarlan, star of music-theatre internationally. Gaye’s great interest is in Berlin cabaret of the 1930’s and we expect this presentation to have all the verve and darkness so synonymous with that period.

"Anyone with fond memories of the Bob Fosse movie version (starring Minnelli, York et al.) will be captivated by this fresh new production of “Cabaret” by students of the School of Music and Drama. Director Gaye MacFarlane brings a wealth of experience and sophistication to the show, with impressive attention to detail, and the student cast, band and crew are, in a word, magnificent. “Cabaret” runs until this Saturday – don’t miss it!"
