Let's Hope - A tribute to the great comedian Bob Hope.
The year is 1970 and the place is Hollywood. Our six main characters; Mort, Fred, Jack. Martha, Gene and Sylvia are in the Writers Room at NBC's TV studios and their task is to write a 2-hour TV special documenting the career of Bob Hope. Conflict arises and 'Bob' intervenes. Cowritten by Karen Mortimer and Tony Sheldon (previously in The Producers) and directed by Karen Mortimer. Karen's choreographic credits include GREASE The Mega Musical ,The Opening Ceremony for the Commonwealth Heads Of Governement in 2002 and "TIN SYMPHONY" for the Opening Ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Karen met the legendary Bob Hope while performing in A Chorus Line and is thrilled to see "Lets Hope" finally take its first steps on stage here in Wollongong.
Let's Hope will feature at 5pm on the 7th October (Thursday), 7pm on 8th October (Friday) and 8:30pm on 9th October (Saturday).
Androcles - based very loosely on Aesop's Fable.
A musical romp by Greg Crease (music) and Rick Burchall (Book and lyrics). Directed by Ian McGrath. Androcles is in trouble - again! Caught between his ambitions, family and political bickering among Caesar's advisers, Androcles finds himself in the arena of the Coliseum struggling to create "good Theatre"! Will he succeed or will the lions have an easy meal?

The Canterville Rubies - an adaptation of Oscar Wilde's story by Rick Burchall.
