"The play takes place in the comfortable, spacious home of the jennings family, on the outskirts of an australian city. Although written during the mid 1980's "family room" holds a remarable significance to the current world climate. It explores societies own fear of social chaos, terroism and
war, twisting the serenity of the family home into a fall out shelter from the insane world outside. While the play exploring themes of terriosm and war, it also targets societies own short comings on the home front, with a critical examination of our dissfunctional family relationships. This two act satire is sharply witty yet also packs a very relevant political punch."
Directed by Adam Bye
Starring creative arts performers from all three years.
