The Faculty of Creative Arts School of Music and Drama presents:
...A World Premiere...
Russian Egg Flip by political playwright Stephen Sewell
Take three Eggs, a drop of acid, a single Revolution and one mother of a party fuelled by enough vodka to drown out the Soviet Empire and you've got "Russian Egg-Flip", a brand new trip from the mind of Australia's foremost political playwright, Stephen Sewell. Subtitled "A Hallucination in Four Acts Plus a Dissertation on the Power of Love by Fyodor Dostoevsky", "Russian Egg- Flip" takes the audience on a bent journey through the Russian Revolution, as told through the eyes of one aristocrat, her submissive lover, her talking dog and her accountant who dreams of the Vegas tap-dancing circuit. With guest appearances by Hitler, Thatcher, Death (and her helper) and a bunch of misfits only history could produce, this cast of thousands sparkle with the energy only a serious commitment to debauchery can produce. Come along and pull up a table as "Dr. Zhivago" meets "Studio 54" and let your hair down in the love that is "RUSSIAN EGG-FLIP". Go on...Get Flipped.
