Nude Auction Success!

Faculty of Creative Arts, 3rd year Visual Arts and Graphic Design students hosted the annual Nude Auction Art Sale on Thursday 4 September 2008, and had a banner year!
This popular annual event sees students and staff of the Faculty showcase their talents with artistic interpretations of the nude. An outstanding collection of works were available this year incorporating a range of mediums such as, works on paper, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and design.
The auction was attended by more than 70 people and with outstanding support from University students and staff, this year’s event raised in excess of $3,000 which is an all time record.
NSW Special Events Co-ordinator for Amnesty International Australia and Guest Auctioneer, Adam Everill, did a fantastic job and the top sale of the day went off at $280.
Proceeds go towards the final Bachelor of Creative Arts Graduation Exhibition, this year titled “The Rabbit Hole” which will be on display in the Faculty of Creative Arts from 24 November to 19 December 2008.
