Creative writing student work performed at Red Lion Theatre
Michael Andrews, a Creative Writing/Law student from the Faculty of Creative Arts has written a play which is being performed in London Monday June 14th at the Red Lion Theatre. A short (10 minute) comic epic called "F*** you Up", the play is directed by Van Badham, (Creative Arts Graduate and international playwright) and the cast includes another graduate, Ed Nelson.
Michael submitted the play as part of assignment last year at the UOW. It was considered such a strong piece that when a slot became available the the Old Red Lion Theatre, Van Badham (who is currently working in the UK) volunteered to direct it. The professional cast agreed it was too good a play to pass up and is also performing for free.
