Paper, Rock Magazine28 August 2007 A new UOW magazine is set to raise the standard of student publications!
The first edition of paper, rock magazine will be launched on Wednesday 29 August 2007 @ 11.00am in the Faculty of Creative Arts, University of Wollongong by Vice Chancellor Gerard Sutton. The full-colour lifestyle magazine, created by journalism students at UOW incorporates in-depth features, sections on arts and entertainment, stories about university life and also touches on fashion, food and wine. After noticing a gap in the local market, a group of enthusiastic Journalism students have been working on this fresh new publication for over a year and intend to publish the magazine quarterly. Paper, rock has received a great response to date and the first edition includes contributions from not only UOW students, but also several industry professionals. Subscription details will be available soon.
