Head Start into Creative Arts for School Leavers

The University of Wollongong’s (UOW) Faculty of Creative Arts is holding an Information Evening for HSC students considering a degree in the creative industries.

The Faculty offers courses in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Media Arts, Performance, Sound Composition and Music Production, Creative Writing and Journalism, making it the only Creative Arts Faculty in the state to combine such a wide range of study areas under one roof.

Applications to study Creative Arts at UOW in 2008 close on the 28th of September 2007. This Information Evening will provide school leavers and their parents with an opportunity to learn more about each area of study and the application process to gain entry.

The galleries, studios and facilities within the Faculty of Creative Arts will be open for inspection and Faculty academic staff as well as current students will be available to share their knowledge on the night.

This is a great opportunity for school leavers to gain perspectives rom other students and graduates and get some tips on putting together their application and portfolio.
