Students may combine their Creative Arts studies with
studies in a number of other faculties and qualify for
the award of two degrees as listed above. Double degrees
are designed for students to complete two degrees in
less time than it would normally take to complete these
consecutively. Please note that applicants must satisfy
the entry requirements of both the degree programs.
For all double degrees, students are required to complete:
- a major study for the Bachelor of Creative Arts
comprising 108 credit points of compulsory subjects;
- all requirements for the second degree as listed
in the appropriate schedule (for information, please
refer to the other Faculty from which the second degree
will be taken);
- where necessary, elective subjects to ensure the
total credit points requirements have been completed.

Bachelor of Creative Arts-Bachelor
of Arts (BCA,BA)
The BCA,BA involves four and a half years of full-time
study (or part-time equivalent). This course provides
a program of study for students wishing to undertake
studies in both an Arts area (such as languages, philosophy,
sociology) and in the Creative Arts. Students must undertake
a major study and prescribed history and theory subjects
within the Bachelor of Creative Arts as well as further
subjects required for an approved specialisation within
the Bachelor of Arts. Applicants must meet the entry
requirements for each of the degrees. Please refer to

information about the BA course.
Bachelor of Creative Arts-Bachelor
of Commerce (BCA,BCom)
The BCA,BCom involves four and a half years of full-time
study (or part-time equivalent). This course aims to
provide a program of study in commercial, business and
administrative skills specifically targeted at arts
organisations and is for those contemplating careers
in arts administration, publishing, musical entrepreneurship
or management of performing arts centres, theatres or
galleries. It also gives practising craftspeople and
other artists a unique edge in managing their talents
for professional purposes. Students must undertake a
major study and prescribed history and theory subjects
within the Bachelor of Creative Arts as well as further
subjects required for an approved specialisation within
the Bachelor of Commerce. Applicants must meet the entry
requirements for each of the degrees. Please refer to

Bachelor of Creative Arts-Bachelor
of Computer Science (BCA,BCompSc)
The BCA,BCompSc involves four years of full-time study
(or part-time equivalent). This double degree combination
is designed for students wishing to become computer
programmers and at the same time develop their artistic
talent. This course provides an excellent basis for
those students wishing to work in multi-media. Students
must undertake a major study and prescribed history
and theory subjects within the Bachelor of Creative
Arts as well as further subjects required the Bachelor
of Computer Science. Applicants must meet the entry
requirements for each of the degrees. Please refer to

Bachelor of Creative Arts-Bachelor
of Laws (BCA,LLB)
The BCA,LLB course is unique in Australia. It involves
five years of full-time study (or part-time equivalent).
In the first year students enrol exclusively in Law subjects. Applicants must
meet the entry requirements for each of the degrees.

Bachelor of Creative Arts-Bachelor
of Science (BCA,BSc) The BCA,BSc involves four and
a half years of full-time study (or part-time equivalent).
This double degree course provides an excellent basis
for those students wishing to develop their artistic
talents and broaden their employment opportunities.
Students must undertake a major study and prescribed
history and theory subjects within the Bachelor of Creative
Arts as well as further subjects required for the Bachelor
of Science. Applicants must meet the entry requirements
