1/4_inch Performing Live in Wollongong

1/4_inch is honoured to present an event which will feature a combination of local, interstate and international artists performing live in Wollongong on 14 March 2006 at 8.00pm
We're kicking 2006 off with a bang and this has to be one of the greatest gigs we've ever presented in Wollongong.

This concert is a rare opportunity to catch KK.NULL, one of Japans premiere noise artists live and in the flesh. KK.NULL is renowned for his collaborations with artists such as Z'EV, CHRIS WATSON, DANIEL MENCHE, KEIJI HAINO, SEIICHI YAMAMOTO, JON ROSE, BILL HORIST, PHILIP SAMARTZIS, ALEXEI BORISOV, ZBIGNIEW KARKOWSKI, JAMES PLOTKIN, JIM O'ROURKE, FRED FRITH, JOHN ZORN to name a few, 100+ CD Releases, as guitarist and singer of the progressive hardcore trio ZENI GEVA and as an artist creating thought provoking, progressive and vital music. Seriously, don't miss this guy.
The duo Ventricle, consisting of Luke Callaghan and Ivar Lehtsalu, are part of an exciting innovative Sydney collective of emerging artists called Dysfunctional Feed.
Rob Curgenven direct from Katherine N.T. has extended his stay in eastern Australia to perform at 1/4_inch. Rob works primarily with field recordings from Australia's far north and piano harmonics mixed live.
Brent Williams local to Wollongong will be performing his 1st solo set at1/4_inch utilising laptop and effects processors.
1/4_inch will be held at the Performance Space, Building 25.168 Tuesday 14th of March, from 8.00pm. Refreshments available.
