Conference Fee

Please note Early Bird registration has been extended and now closes on July 10th 2010 Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Conference fee includes:

• Registration
• Ice Breaking Party
• Industrial Reception
• Lunches and coffee/tea
• Excursion
• Book of Abstracts
• Conference dinner
• Symposium Proceedings (only for professionals, not for students)

The Proceedings will be published in the Journal Radiation Measurements and will become available in two issues: as a hard copy and on CD. The participant should make a choice between the two during the on-line registration. It is not possible to obtain both issues.

* A student is defined as an MSc or PhD student. To allow for a student fee a copy of the student identification card or a letter of recommendation by your supervisor is required. The copy should be faxed or emailed to the Congress Office. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Registration and Cancellation Conditions

Cancellation

Registered participants may cancel their registration until July 17, 2010. There is a cancellation fee of $100. The rest of the registration fee as well as the hotel deposit will be refunded after the Conference.

There is no refund of registration fee, social events and hotel deposit for cancellations received after July 17, 2010. If you need to cancel or change your hotel reservation, please inform the SSD16 Congress Office immediately, as participants will be invoiced for non-occupancy of reserved rooms.

Cancellations must be done in writing (e-mail, regular mail or fax).

Liability

The Organising Committee cannot accept any responsibility for personal accidents or damage to private property of the participants. Participants are advised to take out insurance, as they consider necessary.

The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organisers should the holding of the symposium be hindered or prevented by unforeseen political or economical events or by farce majeure, or should non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate program changes.

The SSD16 conference team and organisers are not liable for loses caused by transport delays or health of the registered participants. Registration costs will not be refunded in the event of participants not being able to attend. It is the responsibility of the registrant to organise travel insurance for themselves and travelling without insurance is at their own risk.

With his/her registration the participant accepts this proviso.
