Introduction
The symposium series on the Application of Computers and Operations Research in the Mineral Industry (APCOM) was initiated by The University of Arizona in 1961. APCOM has become truly international where new ideas as well as original contributions have been launched.
The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), through its Illawarra Branch, in association with University of Wollongong is proud to host the 35th APCOM Symposium. The APCOM International Council welcomes your participation in the 35th APCOM Symposium to be held in late September 2011 in Wollongong, Australia. The 35th APCOM is aimed at maintaining the common APCOM goal of playing a significant part in contributing to effective decision making processes in the mineral industries.
