In the current climate of change in policy on school student reporting, there is a great deal of interest in the current thought and how it will unfold, especially the role of leadership. School reporting changes are requiring schools to rethink assessment and reporting practices as an integral part of quality learning and teaching. The change provides opportunities to utilise distributive leadership practices where teachers as leaders engage in professional dialogue as they reflect and collaborate to make consistent judgements of student achievement.
