Background

Tim is a Professor at the University of Wollongong, and coDirector, Institute for Innovation in Business and Social Research. He has a PhD in strategic management from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) and is currently engaged in pioneer supply chain management research where he has raised over $1.5 million in supported research from the ARC and companies such as DHL and BlueScope Steel. Tim has published in leading journals such as California Management Review, J. of Business Research, J. of Information Technology, Interfaces, J. of Supply Chain Management, J. of Strategic Information Systems and Proceedings of the IEEE. Previously, he has completed research projects for organizations such as the DHL, BlueScope Steel, SAS Institute, SAP, Fairfax Business Research, Kimberly Clark and MIS magazine. Tim has more than 15 years experience in the IT industry, having worked as a senior project manager within private consultancy, government and higher education.
