Background

Matthew commenced his doctoral studies at the University of Greenwich (UK) after completing an MSc in manufacturing systems and an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering. During his time there, he had a number of roles including being part of an EU funded initiative for the creation and delivery of courses for the local community, part-time lecturer, and tutor. He was also involved in consultancy on a part-time basis, delivering technical audits to local SMEs. His research is concerned with the application of lean six sigma techniques in process industry supply chains.
