Background
Michael is currently completing his final months of his PhD, the doctorate is on management looking at career commitment and motivation. Michael is also completing a Masters in Labour Law at the University of Sydney. After working in both commercial and private enterprise, and completing training as an Electronics Engineer with the Department of Defence, Michael started his own company, employing several staff, manufacturing, importing and exporting electronic systems. Michael completed a BComm (Hons) in 2002, and started his PhD shortly after. Michael has been lecturing and tutoring management subjects at UoW since 2002.
Michael is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management, the Australian Human Resources Institute, and the Industrial Relations Society of Australia.
