In 2001, after completing her studies at Newcastle, Australia, Anne started her doctoral study at Leicester Business School, De Montfort University, the United Kingdom. She wrote a thesis on the transfer of HR/IR policies and practices across borders. She was awarded a doctoral degree in 2004. Anne now researches and publishes in three main areas, namely the transfer of multinational companies' IR/HRM policies and practices across borders, the transformation of HR/IR systems in developing countries and gender equity. Her book "The transformation of HRM and industrial relations in Vietnam" was published by Oxford Chandos Publishing in 2009. Her current research addresses the implications of multinational companies' management practices on the social and economic fabric of Australia.
