| To be successful, marketers need to understand the present and plan for success in the future by placing an emphasis on the establishment of viable and lasting relationships. It is this approach that the Marketing Discipline at the University of Wollongong applies in its endeavours to establish relationships with its major stakeholders - students, staff, industry and government. From a solid foundation of current academic and practitioner knowledge, our discipline seeks to be 'future focused' and establish viable and lasting relationships with its stakeholders by contributing to the success of each. Importantly it is the marketing specialisations taught and the research pursued by the discipline that provides the linkage with its stakeholders. |
