Background

Sandra Praxmarer graduated from the University of Augsburg with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Administration in 1997 (Diplom-Kauffrau). In 1997 she was appointed assistant professor at the University of Augsburg (Faculty of Commerce) where she completed her doctoral degree in 2001. From 2001 to 2005 she worked as a manager of industrial holdings at Allianz Group, Munich, to gain work experience. In 2005 she received a postdoctoral research fellowship from the State of Bavaria (Germany).
