Background
Julie attained a Bachelor of Commerce with Class 1 Honours in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wollongong. She was awarded a Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) PhD in Management Scholarship and has since completed her PhD. (Thesis: Category-Specific Models and Measures of Perceived Internet Retailing Quality).
Julie's PhD research involved developing the Fulfilment-Product classification scheme that segments Internet retailing into four categories as well as developing a separate Perceived Internet Retailing Quality (PIRQUAL) model and measurement scale for each of the four categories.
Prior to becoming an academic, Julie worked for Qantas as a Customer Service Team Leader at Sydney International Airport. She has also gained market research experience with Roy Morgan Research.
