Centre for Research in Socially Responsible Marketing
The Centre for Research in Socially Responsible Marketing (CRSRM) is focused primarily on social marketing, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability and covers the public, private and non-profit sectors. Its aim is to conduct research on the role of marketing in achieving positive outcomes for society in ethical, social, and environmental contexts. Queries for the centre should be directed via Dr. Alan Pomering at alanp@uow.edu.au or via specific members of the centre as outlined below.
Members have published in a number of international journals including: Journal of Business Ethics; European Journal of Marketing; Journal of Brand Management; Psychology and Marketing; Journal of Customer Behavior; Australasian Marketing Journal; International Journal of Non-profit and Voluntary Sector Marketing; Journal of Consumer Marketing; and Corporate Communications: An International Journal. The centre is also represented on various editorial boards and members have guest edited for a number of leading Journal special editions.
The Centre is a member of the Social Innovation Network (SInet) which brings together researchers from many discipline to investigate the development of new concepts, strategies and tools that empower individuals, communities, profit and non-profit organisations and the government to improve quality of life where quality of life means material standard of living as well as personal well-being in terms of health and environment and social harmony.
