Facilities and Support

While the principal resource that the faculty brings to collaboration lies in the expertise and intellectual property of our academic researchers, we also provide important physical and financial support for collaboration.

Research wing

The Commerce Faculty's state-of-the-art research wing attracts business and government partners, external academics and high-achieving higher-degree research students.

The world-class research facility not only motivates, but is intellectually stimulating. It is designed to be the best environment in which to pursue research, with sophisticated IT, superior workspaces, seminar and presentation facilities, and research resources.

Our exclusive research facilities are available for hire, and our leading researchers are available to assist with, or collaborate on, your research project.

Funding

By undertaking research, in collaboration with Commerce, your project may be eligible for a range of funding opportunities. For example, the faculty has had substantial success in raising money from the Australian Research Council to support collaborative research. The University also provides seed money to help ignite new external research partnerships.

Studentships

A cost-effective way to engage with university research is by supporting a PhD or Masters studentship under the supervision of a team of academics. This has the additional benefit of providing training for a potential future high-flying employee of your organisation.
