If the last conference report is unsatisfactory, an FRC subcommittee consisting of the Heads of School will advise the Faculty Research Director and the Dean about conference funding discontinuation decisions. |

Note:
- One journal-derived DEST point is a sole-authored journal publication in an ABDC-ranked publication (or an author-weighted equivalent). As publication productivity frequently fluctuates, the rolling average over the past 2 years is used. Research books will be acknowledged in computing the journal-derived DEST-points.
- Journal publications used to apply for funding must be entered in RIS and be Library-approved before application is made.
