Note:

One journal-derived DEST point is a sole authored journal publication in a peer reviewed journal (or an author-weighted equivalent). The journal does not have to be top ranked, but has to be acknowledged as a reputable academic journal (for instance, journals which publish against payments only are not acceptable). As publication productivity frequently fluctuates, the rolling average over the past 2 years is used. Research books will be acknowledged in computing the journal-derived DEST-points.
Journal publications used to apply for funding must be entered in RIS and be Library-approved before application is made.
