A postgraduate degree in Economics from the University of Wollongong is highly regarded throughout Australia and the success of our graduates has been outstanding. Recent graduates are currently working for the Treasury, Australian Bureau of Statistics, Bureau of Agricultural Economics, Department of Finance, Reserve Bank of Australia, Commercial Banking Company of Sydney, International Harvester, and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Earlier graduates have found comparable positions. The diverse multicultural and international interests of the staff attracts postgraduate students from all over the world and the Discipline's research reflects this student intake. Postgraduates in Economics from Wollongong are in increasing demand world-wide.

The School of Economics offers a lively and supportive environment for the postgraduate student and we have a large cohort of enthusiastic students currently undertaking study with us.
