Illawarra Regional Information Service -
John Steinke Prize in Economics
$500 + plaque
The prize shall be awarded to the outstanding student who has earned the highest mark in 300 level Economics subjects (Commerce Schedule C3) during the same academic year (Autumn/Spring Sessions) and who is enrolled in at least 16 credit points of Economics 300 level subjects (C3). No student shall be eligible to win the prize more than once. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit as indicated by achieving a WAM or 75 or above.

$250 book voucher
The award shall be open to an outstanding student, from any faculty, who successfully completes ECON101 on the Wollongong campus in the Summer, Autumn or Spring Session of a given academic year. The student who has achieved the highest aggregate mark in ECON101 will be awarded the prize. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit. In the event of a tie, the prize will be shared.

The student who has achieved the highest aggregate mark in COMM121 will be awarded the prize. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
