The Opening of the Student Study Facility

A new study facility for the University of Wollongong Commerce Dean's Scholars was opened on 25 November 2004 by the Commerce Dean, Professor John Glynn. It provides workspace (individual and group), computers and a collegial atmosphere for participants in the program.

Mentoring

A feature of the Dean's Scholars degree program is the mentoring that scholars receive from academics within the Faculty. But the relationship between scholar and mentor can develop into a more professional association, as in the case of Katrina Matus, who is pictured (right) at work with her mentor and research collaborator, Assoc. Prof. Sara Dolnicar. Katrina joined the Commerce Dean's Scholars Program in 2004.
