Functions of the International Unit
The Commerce International Unit promotes the internationalisation of the Faculty of Commerce through support, management and coordination of all the Faculty’s international activities.
Key Functions of the Commerce International Unit
- Developing and managing Faculty level relationships with high quality overseas educational institutions.
- Development of articulation agreements and review of existing links in conjunction with Uniadvice.
- Assessment of International admission and advanced standing applications for both on and offshore students.
- Supporting the recruitment of quality international students.
- Administering the Faculty’s teaching programs at all offshore locations.
- Improving the student experience of the Faculty’s international students.
- Provision of support services and activities to international students including conducting information sessions and organising international student activities.
- Providing administrative support to the Associate Dean International and Development.
- Support to the Internationalisation Committee.
For International Students:
As part of Commerce Central the Commerce International Unit provides international students in the Faculty with advice on University and Faculty policies, advanced standing, enrolment procedures and other matters.
