Dr Sudhir Lodh BCom (Hons), MCom, MBA, PhD, CPA Sudhir is a senior lecturer in the School of Accounting and Finance at University of Wollongong, Australia. Sudhir obtained his PhD in accounting from this university in 1995. Sudhir completed his MBA degree specialising major in accounting and minor in finance from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, with distinction. Prior to that Sudhir completed his Bachelor of Honours Commerce and Master of Commerce in accounting from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh, with first class in both degrees. He is affiliated with several professional bodies including CPA Australia at the level of CPA. 

Sudhir has been an academic in accounting and finance disciplines for over 20 years. Out of these he worked for the University of Wollongong for about 12 years (from 1988 to 2000). Since February 2009 he has returned back to Wollongong. Sudhir worked for several universities including the University of Western Sydney (9 years from 2000 to 2009), University of NSW, Australia and University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He has wide experience teaching subjects both in accounting and finance disciplines at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels. He is currently involved in teaching financial accounting, corporate and advance accounting theory, and empirical research methods in accounting. Over the years he has contributed in various capacities in institutional planning and governance. 

Sudhir has earned international reputation through research publications including Critical Perspectives on Accounting and The European Accounting Review. He has also published papers including American Academy of Business, Cambridge; International Journal of Electronic Finance and Research in Accounting in Emerging Economies. He has attended and presented papers in various national and international conferences in the field of accounting and finance. 

Sudhir’s current area of research interests includes corporate governance and accountability, management control in ERP environment, accounting education, accounting theory development and critical studies in accounting. He has supervised PhD and Honours students successfully.
