Aelee joined the School of Accounting and Finance in March 2007. She completed her undergraduate studies of accounting and finance with first class honours in finance at the University of Technology, Sydney in 2002.
From 2003 to 2006, Aelee undertook her PhD studies at the University of Sydney. Her PhD thesis investigated dividend valuations on Australian stocks and their ADRs, and institutional dividend clienteles. A number of publications have arisen as a consequence of her PhD research. These include one paper accepted for publication by the International Review of Finance and two papers accepted for presentation at three well-recognised finance conferences.
During her doctoral studies at the University of Sydney, Aelee has worked as a research assistant for finance discipline. She has also tutored in the areas of corporate finance and worked as a senior tutor for finance unit ‘Corporate Finance 2’.
