Research Profile: UOW RIS Profile Corinne has been teaching at university level since 2001 in the areas of Financial Accounting Theory, Management Accounting, Auditing, and Accounting Information Systems. She was employed at Macquarie University from 2001-2003 as an Associate Lecturer, prior to taking up an Australian Postgraduate Award in 2004 to undertake her PhD studies at UOW, returning to the School as a Lecturer in 2006. She worked in a large chartered accounting firm prior to joining Macquarie University, and has also worked on a contract basis for Xstrata plc. Corinne's doctoral thesis considered the role of power and politics in the international accounting standard setting process for the extractive industries. Her research interests include financial reporting, international accounting standard setting, and the extractive industries.
