HISTORY DOES MATTER

This was the theme of our 22nd year, the Annual Doctoral Consortium held on September 10, hosted by the School of Accounting and Finance at the University of Wollongong.

Three internationally acclaimed historians: Professor Warwick Funnell, Emeritus Professor Michael Gaffikin and Professor Simon Ville (pictured below) explored some of the social, economic and political contexts of accounting and finance in history.

The event linked higher degree students studying accounting, economics and finance and academics in an engaging forum with over 60 partipants.
