SOCIOLOGY OF RESEARCH

This was the theme of our 24th year, the Annual Doctoral Consortium held on October 5 2013, hosted by the School of Accounting and Finance at the University of Wollongong.

The event explored the issues associated with research and the fact that research and scholarship takes place within a community of persons; and like any other community activity, research is subject to all of the frailties and strengths associated with working with others.

A series of discussions from keynote speakers Dr Wendy Lipworth, University of New South Wales: University of Sydney, Professor David Johnstone, University of Sydney and Professor Ed Arrington, University of Wollongong.  Higher Degree Research Students and Academics from across disciplines engaged in the forum with over 90 participants.
