New Subject COMM390
This subject provides an opportunity for students to integrate and apply their university knowledge in an industry context. It has been designed for students undertaking any Commerce major and has a primary focus on work experiential learning.
This subject has a minimum prerequisite requirement of 48 credit points at 100 level. It is offered as a 6-credit point elective subject. The subject will be available to all onshore Commerce students, including both Domestic and International students, on a competitive basis.
This is an elective undergraduate subject and as such is not available to Honours and Masters students.
The internship requires the student to work for 16 days in a pre-selected organisation. These working days will be spread over eight weeks with two days per week. However, this may change depending on the student and organisational requirements. Students cannot independently choose their organisation.
How To Apply
To be considered for COMM390, you must apply for specific roles, a process which is similar to a job interview. Firstly, you must put together a cover letter and current resume and apply through the link below. If you are short-listed for a role you will be contacted to attend an interview with a pre-selected Industry Partner. Successful students from the interview will be enrolled by the Internship Team in COMM390.
APPLY HERE - Applications close Week 8, Friday 18th September.
