Equipment for Loan

Hardware

The IT Support Unit has a small collection of IT equipment that staff may borrow for UOW related purposes:

• Laptops for on campus loan during session & off-campus loan during non-session periods.
  
  Note: A number of Schools & Disciplines have laptops for staff to use.
• A multimedia projector is available for on campus loan
• A microcophone for use in the Hope Theatre
• A digital camera is available for both on & off campus loan

Note: All equipment must be booked 48 hours in advance & for off-campus loans staff must complete a "Off Campus Use of Moveable Assets" Form

Software

Endnote

• As per the University licence for Endnote - staff may borrow (overnight) the Endnote CD for installation on their home computers

Update Virus Scanner Definitions

• To ensure that staff home computers contain the latest virus definitions - staff may borrow (overnight) the Virus Scanner CD.
• Staff can also download the lastest virus definitions from the ITS Web site, instructions for downloading definitions can be found at: http://www.uow.edu.au/its/userguides/index.html
