The IT Support Unit undertakes software development
tasks that benefit the faculty as a whole, and provides
consulting to all faculty staff requiring support in
software development.
Systems developed by the IT support Unit include:
- a web based Tutorial Preference System for enroling
students in tutorials,
- a SUBMIT System for online quizes and electronic
assignment submission,
- CAP system for the administration of the Faculities
computer laboratories.
Current and ongoing project include the continual
developement of the SUBMIT System, the maintenance of
the Faculty Web and Intranet Sites, the development
of systems to allow for the migration of the laboratories
from Windows 95 to Windows 2000/XP
