Peer review of teaching-related activities is available to academics at all career stages. Peer review of teaching can offer:
- feedback and constructive suggestions to help academics in their development as teachers
- mutual support and feedback between a group of colleagues, as part of ongoing reflection on teaching practice.
Formal peer review of teaching is currently under development at UOW. Peer review adds additional options to the broad mix of evidence available for academics wishing to provide evidence of their teaching. Participation in formal peer review of teaching at UOW is voluntary.
The process for formal peer observation of teaching
Before requesting a peer observation, attendance at a UOW workshop on peer review of teaching is highly recommended.

Either person may decline or withdraw at any point in the process.
