InFocus - Australian College of Educators Award
Ray Stace, Manager, Educational Systems Development received an Australian College of Educators award for his sustained contribution to supporting teachers with technology. The French Grammar quizzes have been in use for over 15 years and during this time have been migrated to three different platforms. The quizzes, which contain over 57,500 items, are used nationally and internationally as well as at UOW. Ray was nominated by Dr Brian McCarthy in the Arts Faculty who says he could not have achieved what he has with French Grammar if it was not for the support and dedication of Ray. The award was presented by the new Dean of Education, Professor Paul Chandler at a presentation dinner on 25 July. UOW's Faculty of Education co-sponsors the awards with the Department of Education and the Catholic Education Office. Congratulations Ray.
