GSM Formal Peer Review of Teaching by Observation

Target Audience

All UOW Graduate School of Medicine only academic and casual teaching staff. 

Description

This will be particularly geared at the GSM staff who are up for probation and promotion in the future months.

As these staff attended previous workshop/s this will be 1 - 1.5 hours and focus on:

- the UOW formal procedures

- reflecting on/writing a commentary on peer feedback after the review

The staff directly affected by this in the immediate future are those who have to submit probation applications on 31 August:

Those with probation coming up in a year's time would also benefit from attending this and getting prepared for what lies ahead. 

Other staff who have attended the workshops on Peer observation and peer review for formative purposes are welcome to attend this session if they wish to, or if they plan to be involved as reviewers.
